People sometimes ask if I’ve thought about hosting my own podcast.
The answer is yes—in part because I’ve come to realise how easily I absorb ideas and stories through listening. Grief changes the brain. My ability to focus on a dense, serious book has softened in these years since loss. Perhaps those book-loving muscles will strengthen again, but for now, I find joy in hearing others speak, in conversations that spark connection and clarity.
So, will I? Maybe. One day.
If I do step into hosting, my podcast will likely weave through familiar themes: life, love and leadership; grief and loss; psychedelics and expanded states of consciousness; end of life, death and dying. A red thread ties all these topics together for me—an exploration of what it means to live deeply, fully, and intentionally.
The idea itself flits and flirts at the edges of my mind, teasing my brain and my ego, as I noodle and knit ideas together. Yet I know this: it would be a commitment, a labour of care and attention. And for now, I’m not ready to carve out that kind of time. Perhaps I’ll get there. Perhaps I won’t.
For now, I’m content to lend my voice to others’ platforms when invited.
